Peter Nowacki is a senior lighting and lookdev artist with more than 10 years of hands-on experience creating visuals for top-tier gaming cinematics, animated features, and VFX productions. Throughout his career, he’s contributed to major projects—think The Witcher IV, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Destiny 2, Star Wars Outlaws, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, HALO Infinite, as well as Netflix’s Love, Death & Robots—and has had the chance to work alongside some of the most respected studios in the business, from Platige Image, Axis Studios, and Goodbye Kansas, to Passion Pictures and Hydra Studios.
Peter is known for his ability to take full ownership of a shot from lookdev through to final comp, ensuring everything holds together both technically and artistically. He’s not just a solo player—he’s led teams as a lookdev and surfacing lead, mentored junior artists, and played a key role in keeping the creative vision on track even under tight deadlines. What sets him apart is his flexibility: whether a project needs deeply realistic offline rendered lighting and surfacing, or requires working in emerging real-time engines like Unreal Engine 5, he’s comfortable switching gears and adapting to a studio’s pipeline.
Beyond the technical know-how - Maya, V-Ray, Arnold, Nuke, Blender, Unreal -he stays tuned in to where the industry’s headed and isn’t afraid of tackling new workflows or technologies.
